Hair & Makeup For Every Occasion During COVID 19
Please see below our guidelines and practices for clients visiting our salon during the COVID 19 pandemic.
Book an Appointment (COVID 19)
Hand wash facilities will be available for clients on arrival and upon leaving the salon
Drinks will be served in a takeaway cup with a lid we ask that you please take this away with you
We will have a member of staff regularly cleaning and spraying down frequently touched areas such as door handles, chairs, backwash, toilet, you may see this be done after you have say opened the door please do not take offence we are just trying to be as safe as possible.
A staff member will also come round regularly with hand sanitizer and tissue will be available for anyone that may need to sneeze or cough please ask for a tissue we don’t mind we know some of us still suffer from allergies such as hayfever etc
We are avoiding cash payments all payments need to be made in one of the following ways
– bank transfer
– fresha booking app (this is done securely from your phone it’s like paying for an Uber or just eat)
– contactless for £40 and under
All consultations are now becoming electronic along with salon terms & conditions please fill this out a good 48 – 72 hours before your appointment it will be sent directly to your email from a company called faces
A covid 19 disclaimer will be sent also 48/24 hours before your appointment again from the same company faces please fill this out asap
For all hair colours, I plan to work on another client while yours is developing. Please please inform me if you would prefer not to be at the same time as another hair client I honestly will work to suit your needs as my customer.
I will be wearing a visor at all times although it’s not been stipulated by the government that customers have to wear a mask I do request that if you can wear one you please do.
Please do not come to the salon wearing gloves once you touch something with those gloves they are then contaminated so anything you then touch is also contaminated it’s much safer to just wash your hands regularly.
On arrival to the salon please send us a text to let us know you have arrived someone will come out to collect you.
Please do not bring coats or any extra belongings unfortunately at the moment we are not allowed to store them and having them around your seats causes health and safety issues or risk of colour spilling on them.
On this please do not panic if it’s raining we will collect you from the car with an umbrella and take you back we are not letting you wait all this time for your hair for the rain to go spoil it.
We will have no magazines or books for the time being but please feel free to bring your own we may just give it a light mist of sanitizer thought to be safe.
For all my pregnant ladies or anyone with health concerns if you need to bring yourself some refreshments please do all I ask is you take them away with you once finished.
Please come to your appointments on your own Unfortunately at the moment we are unable to allow anyone else to wait around in the salon for you.
We also you to please be understanding at this time we understand everyone has a different view and opinion and we welcome those too if you feel we could do more let us know if you feel we are doing too much let us know too we want you to understand that this is a very new situation for us to adapt and work too and we are just trying to do the best we can with the information we are given.
We will not be charging extra for the ppe, products and materials needed for the COVID 19 situation in which a lot of Salons have added an extra cost all we ask is if you can pop a little bit of spare change in our box or add a little onto your bill if you can afford to it would be a huge help to keep replacing everything needed to keep us safe.
